Lawrence De Alva
Founder and Security Professional
As the founder of Unique Security Solutions, Lawrence De Alva brings more than three decades of security experience to clients throughout Glendale and the Phoenix metro area.
Lawrence De Alva is an accomplished entrepreneur, security professional, business consultant, and community advocate. His security career began in the early 1990s as a nightclub bouncer, where he developed the awareness, discipline, and ability to remain calm under pressure that would shape his professional journey.
Today, Lawrence is the founder and driving force behind Unique Security Solutions. Drawing on more than three decades of industry experience, he leads his team with a hands-on approach and an unwavering commitment to professionalism, accountability, and client safety.
Lawrence’s dedication extends beyond business. As a strong supporter of the Arizona Justice Center, he helps individuals experiencing homelessness access guidance, encouragement, and resources that can help them rebuild their lives. Grounded in his Christian faith, he participates in Bible studies, mentors others, and provides compassionate support to people facing difficult circumstances.
Discipline and perseverance have also defined Lawrence’s athletic career. He is an elite-level powerlifter and world-record holder who has owned and operated Hawgs Barbell Club since 2003. He has written articles for Powerlifting USA and provided training and consultation to professional and amateur athletes.
As a speaker and business consultant, Lawrence encourages individuals and organizations to overcome obstacles, strengthen their leadership, and reach their full potential.
